khath0620 20 Posted January 15, 2012 I am so flooded with emotions right now....nervous, anxious but still very excited! I am a planner by nature so I have cooked tons of band friendly, high Protein foods and froze them, done all my laundry, done grocery shopping, filled my prescriptions, etc. I am now just waiting, waiting, waiting. I just want this behind me now so I can just recover and look forward to a fun summer. I am not sure if I will have the courage to post before pics because I HATE my saggy, floppy stomach right now. Maybe I will get the courage to post some after ones....wish me luck! Katie

kll724 3,055 Posted January 15, 2012 Best of luck to you! Wish I had the courage to do it. But, I am 63 years old, and don't like pain. I just have to deal with the puochy belly. Karen

Tamjpjb 1 Posted January 15, 2012 you're gonna be so excited you are going to want to post the pics. You will not care what your before pic looked like because you will be so excited that isn't how you look anymore. Believe me, I felt the same way. I was super excited about my results and couldn't wait for my after pics. Good luck, speedy recovery and congratulations. Tami

Sue Magoo 71 Posted January 16, 2012 Katie: I'm with you hun. Thursday will be a blur and by Sunday you'll start to feel human again. You already look fabulous! Imagine how you're going to feel without that extra skin. Take care and let me know if you need anything. Sue
Sue Magoo 71 Posted January 18, 2012 Katie: So one more day and it's your big day! Take care, and rest. You're in very good hands with Dr. H. Drop me a line or post when you feel up to it so that I'll know you're doing well. You already look fabulous! This is the icing on the cake. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and I know that the first couple of days are pretty uncomfortable, but it gets better each day after that. And, it's so worth it! You're very fortunate to be able to have this surgery. Keep smiling . I'll see you on the other side - the side with the flat tummies. Sue
khath0620 20 Posted January 22, 2012 So I am home and doing well. Took 4 pounds of extra skin off. Took my 1st shower today and feel a bit more human. The pain is very manageable too. I check in with the surgeon on Wednesday and will hopefully get a clean bill of health and one of the drains removed. Thanks for all your support!
