bondgirl 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Alright, My first fill since I had the surgery. I am nervous and anxious and can't wait to get it done. Will I be able to drive afterwards? So I can go by myself right? Just general questions. Let me know. Gotta go now. Angie

bondgirl 0 Posted February 17, 2006 hehe I know. I am a worrier when it is new. And then like you said I will be on here oh hell that was easy! Thanks Kathy. I am a goofy woman I know. hehe Angie
Dragonwillow 0 Posted February 17, 2006 It was really easy....the hardest thing was the little sting from the numbing stuff. And that wasn't bad. I drove home, and next time I'll go into work...could have this time, but decided since someone was working for me to take the day off .
Jammin & Losin 1 Posted February 17, 2006 Yes you can drive after getting a fill ...unless the excitment just over welms you!! LOL!!! Good luck and glad you are getting to your first great mile stone...your first fill!!! Congrats!!!
Mrs Sabre 1 Posted February 17, 2006 Angie, what time is/was your fill today? From what I've heard, it's not bad at all; but what do I know? I cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow!
gordonfamily3 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Anige - I am waiting to hear from you.... Girl you are going to OK!!!
bondgirl 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Ah, That was EASY! It was fun too! I had two good lookin' men standin' by me... hehe. Dr. B. and his helper. They were fun too. The helper dude was like... You had to have lapband? I said I love you already! But it was very easy and I could feel the pressure from the needle and it was cool. And I got to watch. I didnt have to pay!!! But they did send me over to Patient services because they thought I had too but my insurance is so good I didnt have too. WOOT!!! I am on liquids. Drinking my boost as we speak and went to the grocery store and got all the other fun liquidy stuff. So I am set for my six days of no eating. I will do fine. Hopefully I can lose some weight now. It has been on a stand still and has been driving me insane!!! Thanks for checking up on me girls. Angie
Mrs Sabre 1 Posted February 17, 2006 Angie, that's great! What kind of Soup are we eating tomorrow?
bondgirl 0 Posted February 17, 2006 I dunno? Not sure? hmm... We can figure that out tomorrow. All I know is that I am drinking boost right now. lol Oh I forgot to tell you. Dr. B put in 2cc's in my band. He said I was wide open and was in need of one. And I got it. Angie
Mrs Sabre 1 Posted February 17, 2006 Can you feel a difference? Could you feel the band tighten as he added it? Inquiring minds wanna know
bondgirl 0 Posted February 17, 2006 I think I feel a difference. I couldnt feel it tighten up at all when he did it. I was like you are done? He said Yep! So yeah it was EASY! Three days on liquids though. lol Thats going to be hard. I dont see how I made those two weeks. Angie
Mrs Sabre 1 Posted February 17, 2006 Although I dread it, I need the two weeks of liquids to help me get my head straightened out! The closer it's getting, the more bad stuff I've been eating. I know the band doesn't keep you from eating bad stuff, but I refuse to put myself through this anxiety, effort, surgical pain, etc. and not give it my best effort.
