EReuter 1 Posted January 16, 2012 When you lose a lot of weight your hormones do get out crazy. I don't think you are alone. I have not been through this but I'm sure others have. I don't think couseling would be a bad idea maybe getting it all out and processing your feeling with a counselor might help. What does your husband think about all this? Banded G-ma 1 Posted January 17, 2012 I have been where your husband is. My husband of 30+ years lost weight and started dressing better and really taking care of himself. Lots of excuses to go to work on his day off, golf or running to the store. I was my same stupid fat little self believing we were soul mates and he would never cheat. Was I wrong!!!!!!!!! I have never felt so degraded or heart sick. He was having an affair with a coworker and was making plans to move in with her. Unknowingly I had ordered gifts for her (taking up money to buy a gift for one of the nurses at work-pick her up a pair of earrings-LOL). It nearly killed me. It has taken 3 years for me to get to the point of being able to take care of myself again. If you love your hsband then think of what you are doing. If you enjoy the attention of other men then show your husband the respect and end your marriage. My husband's excuse was "oh the wellbutrin made me do it" and the doctor backed him up. Hormones or not, medications or not -cheating emotional or physical is wrong! I'm sorry if you think I am being rude-but I lived it and wish it on no one.
