Help!!! I'm Frustrated

Recommended Posts

Am i doing something wrong? I started out by creating blogs to ask my questions and didn't get any response so i figured i was doing something wrong. Then i started looking at all of the different forums and started posting my questions there. I noticed some questions/topics get a lot of views and response and some get nothing; mine being one of them. Am i posting incorrectly? I am new to blogging so if I'm not doing it correctly could someone please help. I'm getting frustrated with the lack of response to my questions. HELP

This site is not very user friendly and they keep changing it and it is getting worse! Hard to find things and I know a lot of people have ditched this site completely in favor of Facebook groups...

Something to think about. Nothing worse than asking a question and getting completely ignored. Thanks for responding.

Blogs aren't there to ask questions, they're generally used to journal your Lap Band journey and experiences. Use the forums and have some patience, almost 99.99% of questions are responded to within a few hours. Also, it helps to be as descriptive in the titles of your posts as you can possibly be.

All of this is new to me so i wasn't sure if i was supposed to be blogging, posting or something else. I'm computer literate but I'm not super savvy with this blogging/posting thing so i'm trying to work the kinks out..Thanks

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
