Boobs After Wls

Recommended Posts

Happy New Year!!!

Just a quick question for anyone that doesn't mind answering. Just curious to know if anyone well endowed lost a lot of inches after WLS. I was contemplating a reduction but thought I should hold off until after I'm banded. I've lost some weight over the years but don't recall seeing a noticeable difference in the boob area. Does anyone mind answering this.

I had lots when I was heavier. Went from a 44 dd to 36 d. Probably could use 34, but some excess skins bulges when I do. Anyway, used to be real big on top and now, wear same size as my d-i-l who is extra skinny. I am in a small top, too! Hope that helps. Happy New Year. Karen

I have always been overly endowed and went thru the process of a breast reduction about 5 years ago, but my insurance would not cover it much to the dismay of my surgeon. I've lost 62 pounds and just went to buy new bras, not because the others didn't fit, but because I needed NEW ones. Well I wear the exact same cup size and band size!!!! Go figure. I'm certain I'll be having a breast reduction along with a TT after all is said and done!! Maybe your situation will be different.

I've lost 115. Went from a 46DD to a 34D... However, there is a story behind this. I also had a lift a few months ago. Before my lift, I was a 34C or so I thought. I kept buying that size and they just didn't fit well. After surgery, I was buying 34B/C, thinking my boobs were the same, couldn't have gone up a cup. I finally went into Victoria Secrets and was actually fitted and measured. I'm in a 34D and the bras fit amazingly! I mean, I know they say about 86% of women do not wear the right bra size, but wow. Apparently I had enough mass in my boobs, they just needed tighter "packaging".

Long story short, I would definitely wait until after being banded! I kept my boobs until my last 20 pounds of weight, then they just disappeared.

I went from a 46DD (at my highest weight to now, a 36D, I think soon I may need a 34D. I used to want a breast reduction when I was a DD, now since I've gone to a D, I'm ok with the size. Though ever since I can remember my boobs have been totally saggy. I don't remember them ever being normal (I'm sure they were, but I can't remember), so I will definitely want a lift when I hit goal (gotta start saving). Also there is so much skin there, I'm not sure if they will look good without implants. I don't like big boobs though, so I would not get them bigger, possibly smaller even if I do have to get implants.

Ive got miniscule little boobies now after having fairly large ones. Bit ive never had large breasts out of proportion to my size if that makes sense. When my body was ginormous so were my tits. Im not large breasted in that sense. I went from a 20E to a 12C (32C) and i like it that way. Theyre sad empty sacks and I cant create enticing cleavage with a push up bra (they just crinkle ling the stretch marks and wobble like puddles of water) but theyre easily hidden even in a triangle bikini top.

Now that Im getting a Tummy Tuck at rock bottom price (its medically recommended by my bowel surgeon to fix surgical problems), i will probably do something about them in a year or so. I know i need a lift and implants to fill out the upper part but i wont be going bigger, just better shaped. Its so much easier to dress better with small boobs and its never been my scene to show a lot of breast or cleavage.

Thank all of you for responding. I've had big girls for so long I can't imagine not having them. After I'm banded and start losng weight we'll see what happens. If the girls decide to "hang" around I'll look into reduction.
