Grider 92 Posted January 1, 2012 Call your Dr. You want to make sure it is just trapped gas. I think after a day or two, it should go away and if it hasn't time for that call. You went in fir your post op visit? I had some thicker Soup and i was not happy all night, doing the yogurt thing today see if I can push it forward. I have hard time sleeping, sideways pillow and getting comfortable a pain. Call the doc in morn.
54Shirley 105 Posted January 1, 2012 Call your Dr...... Let him/her know what's going on. If it's worse ! Go to the Hospital where you had your surgery at. They should have a Bariatric Surgeon on call.
Cocoabean 430 Posted January 1, 2012 Some surgeons put a small fill in at the time of surgery. You might need to have that removed, if yours put some in. The pain you are describing sounds like pain from a tight band. If it gets worse, or you cannot get Clear Liquids down, call your surgeon's office right away. Holiday or not, someone will be on call.
