Knot In Area Of Lap Band Incision

Recommended Posts

There is a really hard knot behind my largest incision. I know that's not where my port is, any ideas what this may be, Has anyone had this? Should I be really concerned. It doesn't hurt. I'm just concerned.

Probably just scar tissue forming. When were you banded?

I have the same thing on my port scar. I think it's ok because I was just checked today and stitches were removed.

My port is right behind the largest incision (lower left abdomen), it's about the size of a half dollar, a bit thicker though.

I'm 3wks post-op... And at 2 wks I started feeling that. I just so happened to see my surgeon that day. He said it scar tissue forming . I didn't even have to tell him I was feeling it . He just said "at this stage you my feel some thickness or bulging around the port area". And it just so happened at that moment I was .

I also have some thickness around my laergest incision. I have like a discomfort on my left lower abdomen I'm sure it is due to the port but I can't feel the port? Where is the port located actually?
