cheryl2586 3,053 Posted December 20, 2011 Everyone hits a plateu and sometimes it will be longer than two weeks. You have to know that this will happen and just keep doing what your doing. The best advice is only weigh yourself once a week and yes I know that is hard but dont get on the scale everyday its a bummer 1 KhadijahRose reacted to this

new chapter in life 5 Posted December 21, 2011 Kick up your exercise & activity---get your metabolism going. Measure everything--go back to the basics!!
SageTracey 608 Posted December 21, 2011 Four weeks post-op you are probably only just getting onto solid food. This means that your body has more fuel to burn for you to lose weight. If you are up to it, kick up your exercise a bit. Stalled loss and even slight weight gain is normal at this stage of your journey.
2muchfun 8,927 Posted December 21, 2011 You'e in bandster hell. That's the first weeks or months before you get a fill that causes the right restriction. I too am no longer losing but that's because I can eat anything I want and don't feel any kind of restriction. Getting my first fill Jan 5th and hoping it is all I need but from what I read, it could be several more fills till I get that right fit. Good luck.
Mindy! 3 Posted December 21, 2011 Yeah, a lot of times I get pretty discouraged if I hit a plateau, but it really helps if you take up measuring yourself. More often than not, when the scale doesn't change, your measurements will. Just keep on keepin' on and it will all fall into place. At least, that's what I've experienced and heard so far. I wouldn't let it get you down too much.
