BeautyLarue 2 Posted December 14, 2011 Does anyone have the guidelines for daily nutrition. I was giving the servings from my doctor, but i would like that actual measurements eg: x grams of Protein x grams of sugar x grams of carbs x grams of fat
steelerfan 5 Posted December 14, 2011 my doc said 50-60 grams of Protein and 30 grams of Fiber. Nothing else was specified in grams, just serving size etc.
aloudwhisper 176 Posted December 15, 2011 I was told 70 to 80. sugar free everything, plenty of Water
xavier 153 Posted December 15, 2011 I think I was told Protein grams should equal half of your ideal weight. So if ideal weight is 120, you need 60 grams a day. If I eat my protein first, at least 20gms at each of three meals, I dont have room to get myself in trouble with sugar ,carbs etc. Protein is the only think I (sort of) count. aloudwhisper 176 Posted December 4, 2012 So has everyone been keeping up with their Protein intake? I fell way off. I'm getting back on track now.
lovely29 19 Posted December 5, 2012 I was told 64/64 rule 64g of Protein and 64oz of liquid. I don't regret any decision in my life because at the end I will make it work
aloudwhisper 176 Posted December 5, 2012 Well good for you. This process isn't an easy one, so no one should ever regret the surgery. But I have had my issues with the decisions that I have made since being banded. I am in a much better place now though.
