LB4Me 35 Posted December 10, 2011 I admit, I'm a online junkie! And I've been an on-again, off-again fan of Groupon. I thought I would share my Groupon offer for today. I think those of you post-op will enjoy it. I just wonder if it includes "virtual" gas and port pain, Constipation, hiccups and PBing? From Groupon: People frustrated with dieting may find other ways to feel lighter, such as carrying around helium balloons or immigrating to the moon. Lighten your celestial body's load with today's Groupon: for $99, you get two one-hour sessions of Virtual Gastric-Band hypnotherapy with Marc Carlin at The Hypnosis Center (a $598.50 value). Certified hypnotherapist and weight-loss specialist Marc Carlin of The Hypnosis Center wields the power of suggestion and techniques backed by clinical experience to facilitate the shedding of excess pounds. The Virtual Gastric Band treatment is designed to convince the client's subconscious mind and nay-saying shoulder-angels that he or she has undergone gastric band surgery to reduce his or her stomach capacity. Over the course of two one-hour sessions, Marc verbally leads the patient through the virtual surgery, enhancing the storyline with props aimed at persuading the body to physically mimic the effects of the procedure. Thus, patrons trade fashion-backward hospital gowns and the risks of a real operating table for a relaxing rest in a dream-like state. The hypnotherapy process is also designed to educate participants on balanced dietary habits and uncover the emotional factors behind overeating, such as having been raised by a wild pack of animal crackers. Customers can view a brief video on Marc's innovative approach for more information.
Cindy C 150 Posted December 10, 2011 Wonder if you have to go back every month for a virtual fill! 4 Meduseld, transforming jlaroux, pen527 and 1 other reacted to this
Meduseld 29 Posted December 10, 2011 Damn! If it's that easy to get someone to shrink their stomach capacity, is there someone that can "suggest" that I will excel at all my finals this week? Just honestly. ....What? EDIT: I just watched a video. 4 sessions with this dude is $1200! You might as well just get the surgery! And then she said in two weeks, she's lost about a pound (which probably means zero. Probably lied to the news people to make it seem more legitimate). I mean, it's possible, but just starting out at a high weight, you generally lose much more than a pound in two weeks. Don't believe it for a second. If I'm gonna eat the amount to fill a golf ball, my stomach better dang well be the size of a golf ball! Eating that little isn't fun some of the time! cakegirl 12 Posted December 12, 2011 I had hypnotherapy a couple of years ago and it did absolutely nothing for my weight. I did feel relaxed and energised. But didn't lose any weight.

Dulci 108 Posted December 14, 2011 Years ago, I tried hypnotherapy to quit smoking. They added weight loss hypnosis to the seminar as a free bonus. On the way home from the seminar, I stopped at 7-11 to buy cigarettes and nachos. 2 Twinkles and Cindy C reacted to this
