sparky1582 4 Posted December 10, 2011 It's been 16 months since I had the Gov'ner installed and I have lost 100 pounds! Woo Hoo! From 344 to 244, from 56" waist to a 42", from knee pain to running steps, to a completely new wardrobe. I have 44 more pounds to lose to reach my goal but the finish line is in sight! Ya'll have a Merry Christmas. 2 skintyprincess and SHC reacted to this

tabithainbremerton 7 Posted December 10, 2011 Coming from a pre-surgery patient your weight loss is inspiring. It reassures me I'm making the right choice and that this can be done. Congratulations on your hard work and good luck on reaching your goal.

Five pounds in two weeks and I have over 6cc's in my band. I have restriction so why now am I losing so slow?!please help Patience is the key. 5 pounds in three weeks is good. I my journey I had weeks where I did not lose any weight some weeks I'd lose 5 pounds(but I'm a guy). It is a distance race, go the distance and you will get your reward. It has been frustrating at times but looking back over the last 16 months it's been pretty quick. Remember it's taken a lot of years to put the weight on, it's going to take a while to get it off. Maybe not the answer you are looking for but it is the best answer I can give you. Hang in there.
