Lap Band Surgery Today - But Feel Pretty Good.

OK, I am so glad I feel so good, but it seems a little weird since there are a lot of posts on here about the pain. I also had a hernia repair and got the iband. I am a little sore and my shoulder hurts a little bit from gas, but it is nothing major. I have been up walking quite a few times tonight.

My question though, is I seem ok to drink as much Water and Gatorade as I want. Is this normal? I haven't even really had to take sips.

Also, tomorrow I go on liquid clear foods, plus Protein shake. Do I eat Breakfast and sip on a Protein shake all day or is the Protein Shake considered my Breakfast?

I just got banded a couple of days ago myself. I've found a similar thing: I can drink as much Water as I can handle. I usually have to drink it slow, but otherwise no problem.
