GLove 44 Posted November 16, 2011 I have heard many people recommend Biotin for Hair loss. Has anyone heard of taking Inositol?. Last week at the LB support group meeting Inositol was discussed and found that several people were using it and they ALL said it was effective in supporting Hair growth. It's a part of the Vitamin B complex and works as a cellular rebuilder. In googling it, it seems to have many uses. Just wanted to pass along this bit of information so you can check it out. Has anyone used it and if so did you find it effective?
vlp1968 83 Posted November 16, 2011 I went to the dermatologist when I started loosing some hair about 4 months post op. He said not to worry, it was from the shock to your body of rapid weightloss. He was right, a month or so later it started to thinken up again. I was lucky to start out with a pretty full head of hair. I didn't take anything. Personally, I would save your money and it should grow back on it's own in a couple months.
