How long in the hospital?

I didn't realize that this could be a long recovery.

Unless something goes terrably wrong, I'll have surgery at noon this coming Wed. and be home in time for my DH to prepare my liquid dinner. It's all outpatient. I plan to return to work on Tues the 21st (yes, I have a desk job). My Doc said that was pretty normal.

I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew. (so to speak...)

Wow - I hope thats what I get to do - I don't want to be "laid up" for long, I couldn't stand it!

I came home the same day!! My surgery was done as an out patient.

Man, I hope that I can have it all done as an outpatient - my insurance will pay 100% of all outpatient stuff - but not all of the in-pateint, so I'm hoping!!
