LB4Me 35 Posted November 14, 2011 Welcome. The week's following your surgery are the hardest. You're going to want solid food before your doctor says you are ready. It is very important that you follow your Dr's instructions even if they are different than others on here.
ClauCuev 0 Posted November 14, 2011 Thanks for the adivce, it has been hard especially wanting to eat, I thought I would not have any hunger pains, boy was I wrong. The gas pain and shoulder is craaaazy!! But today is much better, trying to get my protien in and Water. Another question, I bought this liquid Vitamins at all natural and vegan, but! it is very green and has particuls, which I am sure is great but don't think I ready to drink that. Any recommendations on how I can get my vitiamns with over the counter products??? Thanks for the help. Welcome. The week's following your surgery are the hardest. LB4Me 35 Posted November 15, 2011 I bought Centrum chewables. My doctor said you could also take two children's gummys or chewables.
depressed_bandster 72 Posted November 15, 2011 I am 11 days post-op. I take chewable vitamins as well; can't handle the liquid. The gas pains were really the only pains I had, but they were bad for about a week. Keep with the diet your doc recommended & you will be surprised and motivated by the weight you lose! Good luck!
