kcf101008 1 Posted November 13, 2011 I am looking for a Protein Powder that I can add to anything when I feel like I am not getting enough Protein. Does anyone know where this is available??
Corrigan 75 Posted November 13, 2011 What you're looking for is Protein isolate powder. Any health food store usually has it, or you can find it on line for a little less. To mix with hot liquids, you have to mix in a little cool Water first, then the hot. It's pure protein and all I've had was tasteless. Low fat cottage cheese is also an excellent source of protein. m1aman 944 Posted November 14, 2011 Do you mean tasteless or unflavored?
xavier 153 Posted November 14, 2011 I dont use it anymore but when I did I got GNC brand at GNC. It is unflavored and I never did taste it when I put it in Soups or whatever.
janepur 0 Posted December 24, 2011 Once I was banded, I could no longer stand the Protein I was drinking pre op. Weird? Anyways, I now use High 5 and like it. 118 calories, 1 g carb/sugar, 26 protein! It is pricey and I can only buy it online.

loretta\ Baconton Georgia 10 Posted January 15, 2012 I use probiotic from GNC. I love it. It is unflavored and it has no taste really. It is a powder you can put your drink or Soup or just put in straight in yyour mouth- that is what I do..
jennabean27 6 Posted January 15, 2012 Vitamin shoppe has Isopure unflavored and its good ok in broth, just got banded thurs so i cant eat food yet but i think it will be undetectible in most foods. its pricey though i went onlne to order the unjery and its 1/3 the price of the Isopure so i also got the multi Vitamins and Calcium supplements they r specifically for bariatric patients. i dont know about u but i cant stand the clear Protein drinks. i rather suck up a ittle chalkey taste in a 4 oz cup of broth than 20 some ounces of ready to drink clear stuff. 1 Fadeout reacted to this
Nin 1 Posted April 14, 2012 I use Beneprotein in my coffee in the mornings. It's a bit pricier but I've noticed I can't really taste it much. 1 scoop is 25cal, 15mg sodium, 30mg of Potassium, 0 carbs and 6g of Protein. It's got about 32 servings per can and it's like $15 on walgreens website. But I buy it from Amazon in the case. Since I only use it in my coffee a can lasts me about a month and I bought a 6 mo supply for about $60. I've found it's the only one I've tried I can't taste. You will have to mix with a little Water first before putting it in hot things or it will curdle.
twi 40 Posted April 14, 2012 One thing to be aware of is Protein strength lessens in hot liquids. They are not suppose to be heated over luke warm. Just a FYI
