Poodlelover56 2 Posted November 15, 2011 At 14 days, you likely still have swelling. Also, you can have restriction with nothing in the band. I do. I am 5 weeks post op and went for my first fill last Friday , but didn't need one. I'm losing with just the band in place. You still have a band around your stomach. That in itself, is restricting. Lots of people can't do bread anyway. It balls up in there and is difficult to get down.
xavier 153 Posted November 15, 2011 My first stuck episode was a half a banana and I said i would never do that again...but I did, many times, and I was a slow learner! Seems funny now but not at the time!
54Shirley 105 Posted November 15, 2011 It seems that bread for a lot of People (including me) is just one of those things that won't go down.. I got use to it quick, it was better to do without then get stuck. Further down the line, you might try small pieces, but don't be surprised if that first one doesn't go down. Try not to cheat (I did to) until someone pointed it out to me, that I was still healing, and could screw something up. I never did cheat again.... So I'll pass that advice on to you all. Shirley.
