PhotoNut 7 Posted February 11, 2006 *makes a face* It's awful. I cried for days. Bled too. We had to buy a new bed from all the nasty drainage. I've been banded for a month now and still can't sit up-- ow! Ok, I'm lying and have just been slapped by all my fellow bandsters here. *evil grin* Seriously, youre going to be sore but people differ so much. Some go out shopping the next day while others take a couple of weeks to get back to normal. It's really not that bad at all. *smiles* Sorry if I scared you. I'm just in a "mood" today. Watch out LBT you've been warned! *laughs*
NJChick 3 Posted February 11, 2006 When I woke up from surgery the pain was pretty bad but they kept pumping me with drugs aaaaaaaah.... I was hurting for about 2 days and then it started to lesson more and more, I didn't need my pain killers after about the 2nd or 3rd day. It was worth it though. suzan72704 2 Posted February 12, 2006 Well my pain was alright. I mean I knew I had surgery, and I was glad I was in the hosiptal overnight to get some meds, but to tell you the truth when I went home the next morning, we went to get my pain meds at the pharmacy, and they did not have it, and wouldn't until the next day. They gave me "free" liquid (regular) tynolnol (can't spell), and that is what I used until my pain med came in the next day. I think I took one dose, :tired and I put the rest down the drain. I was back to work in 3 days (I had a sit down job), but I would never recommend it to anyone, I got tired. But as for pain, not bad, my migrains are worse :phanvan Remember that everyones pain level is different. Suzan
