It would be a shame if your BMI fell below 40 before you began a weight loss surgery program.

i think it will probably depend on your insurance. i'm a self-pay and my BMI is around 33, i have no other health issues and i'm going in tomorrow for surgery. it also may depend on your surgeon. i would lcheck with both.
