Shopping for cloths.

Recommended Posts

I have a Wedding to go to the Saturday after Thanksgiving. So I thought I would shop for some Cloths.

I found a Beautiful Floor Skirt that was a size 18w, and I was thinking I don't know, Your suites are 22!

I decided to buy it. Got home slipped it on, and it was a little lose,, I was happy, but i want the proper fit.

So It has a tie, so I tied it and put in a nice Bow. Then I said I have to get a nice Blouse, and shoes for this.

So I slipped of the skirt only then to find the ZIPPER.

That's to lose ! So I will have to take it back, and start

all over again. This time, I will stay in the stores until I get a complete outfit for the Wedding.

But yes down from a 22 to a 18... "YES"

Congrats! Isn't it a great feeling? I bought a pair of pants size 18 (down from a 26) last week. Today I put them on and they are feeling a little baggy already! Maybe I should bring them back and get the 16. WOOHOO!

Good Luck finding an outfit for the wedding! :D

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
