Lorie 0 Posted February 11, 2006 I have been getting very frustrated lately. I have been working on all of my clearances now for several months. I am soooo ready to move forward and it just seems there is always some stumbling block. I try to be patient, but it has been a long road to get to where I am now. It is looking like I will have to wait now until April for my surgery. Any pre-lap memories out there to help me feel a bit better?:omg:
PhotoNut 7 Posted February 12, 2006 Oh geeze, I didn't have to deal with insurance (self pay) but I did have to jump thru all the hoops of the pre-tests. Luckily, if it's really lucky, I had a pretty bad hernia the doctor wanted to repair at the same time, so I got pushed thru the line fairly quickly. Even still, I was so anxious and nervous I didn't think the day would ever arrive. And now here I am a month later saying, 'Wow, where did that month go??' Hang in there. Everything happens in just the right time. Trust that your surgery will too. Take this time to start preparing yourself mentally and physically for the surgery. Start watching your food, lose what you can, exercise, etc. All of this will help you make a speedy recovery and give you less to lose after the surgery! Jammin & Losin 1 Posted February 12, 2006 Lorie it took me 4 months to get approved and then I ended up having to have 2 surgery's 1 to get my gallbladder removed due to finding gallstones during my preop tests for my lapband.....so I had to wait 1 month after that surgery to get my lapband surgery done...What an ordeal...but well worth the wait!!! Hang in there you will be in band land soon!!!!
