Chriselda 0 Posted February 10, 2006 I am now in the progress of just getting starting. I go next week to do my lab work and other tests. I have UHC and they said that it covers 100%. Though after I get my tests done, I have to go through insurance clearance. Do I still have a good chance at getting this ? Does it take a long time before you get an answer from them ?? Sorority ChiK 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Hello all, I am new to LBT also. I go for my 1st seminar/cunsultation 2morrow.. I also have UHC and hope they will cover 100%...
Chriselda 0 Posted February 12, 2006 They should cover it. But I guess it depends what plan you have. I have the hmo plan. I called myself to see how much they covered. You might want to call and verify with them. Good luck !! I don't know I'm still debating if I still want to get it. I just fear in what if something goes wrong and I won't have my insurance anymore, then how will I pay to have it removed. That is my worst fear...... NurseTeresa 0 Posted February 13, 2006 Congratulations on the UHC paying 100% of your surgery. I too have UHC and a nurse at a hospital and mine wont pay for anything at all. I AM so jealous. But none the less happy for you all. Good luck with the entire process! Keep us posted!

I have HMO also and was told they cover 90/10; that max I will have to pay is $2000 out of pocket but they were still in talks with them.

Chriselda 0 Posted February 14, 2006 That's awesome !! Good luck to you on your process. I went today to get my lab work done. I feel like I'm really starting to get the ball rolling. Once you start to get your tests completed you feel like you are really now in the process. I guess the quicker you get that done. The quicker paper work can be submitted to the insurance. I'll keep yaw posted. :clap2: :clap2:
minnie1019 0 Posted November 8, 2007 I have my appointment with the Surgeons Assistant and I was told I will have a psych evaluation. I'm super excited and anxious. Can anyone tell me what to expect at the seminar and evaluation?
