well, youve been on liquids and my surgeon had me use magnesia of citrate to get rid of that before surgery.takes time to fill up again i guess. it took me a few days to get a bm. and youre also only drinking liquids if youre on a proper post-op diet. sometimes i think things are going TOO easy and that scares me, lol.

This comes up quite often. Make sure you're drinking at least 64 oz of Water and try some warm

prune juice in the morning. It's probably best to stay away from chemical laxatives for a few weeks. Hydrocodone causes

constipation

Same thing happened to me. Only I didn't have a BM until I was 1 week post op!!! It's the anesthesia and pain meds. It takes a few days to get things going again. I did a fleet enema. Not fun but it helped big time! Good luck

Benefibre is working for me...I am now as regular as clockwork! I take 1 tsp. in a glass of Water in the morning and in the evening. Benefibre has no taste and does not affect the water in any way (no thickening). You can mix it with any liquid (including your Protein shakes). Good luck.

Thanks... the Fiber sounds like a good plan!

I didn't have one until wk2 but all I had in me was liquids so I haven't been too concerned.
