Kellysue 7 Posted November 3, 2011 I as banded on 10/28 and am having a hard time drinking. Not that it's physically hard, but I am not thirsty. I don't think I realized how much I depended on food to make me thirsty and drink. Now that I am only eating Soups and Protein Shakes, I can't drink much. I try to force myself, but it's so hard. I have it around all the time, but I don't think about it because I am not thirsty. I know thirst is when you are already dehydrated and that's not what I want, but I have always just depended on food to make me want to drink.
Kiskis 56 Posted November 3, 2011 Since being banded I drink less. Just keep sipping! I do if I needed or not to stay hydrated. Good luck!

kll724 3,055 Posted November 3, 2011 Some days I get exta thirsty. But I agree with the other people, I, too, do not seem to be as thirsty as I used to be before lapband. I try to drink my 64 oz, but it seems that here is not enough hours in a day! Good luck on your weight loss. And Kiskis, you have done an amazing job!
