roeroe 18 Posted November 2, 2011 i have two weeks to go before i start my liquid diet for two weeks. i have one more dietician appointment next tuesday and i have a list of what i should be eating, but i feel like i better sit down and think about what i will need to buy to get me through the two week liquid diet and the 2 - 4 weeks post surgery, because i know i will not be able to go right out after surgery and shop. so besides sugar free jello; broth; sugar free apple sauce and ice pops; sugar free pudding; skim milk, plenty of high Protein liquid meal supplements and my Multi Vitamins, Calcium supplements and gas x, what else will i need to get me through the two week pre surgery diet and two - four week post surgery liquid diet. it is a bit overwhelming. Corrigan 75 Posted November 2, 2011 Hi Roseann, you should have an appointment with a nutritionist during your indoctrination. They'll tell you just what you need to get. Your list sounds pretty complete as it is. The only thing you might add is Vitamin B12 (sublingual). My program may not be the same as yours, so what I needed may not be what you need. If for some reason you don't get a list of stuff you need, we'll be happy to provide you with what our program suggested. I think you'll be surprised just how fast you'll be out and about.
