dont know if im losing enough

I got the band with plication on 10/10/11. The first week I lost 16 pounds, the second week 1 pound, and thus far this week zero... I am on soft foods but a little discouraged, is this normal not to lose after such a big lose the first week? I get filled next friday for the first time. Please advise....

It is absolutely normal. If you have the time, read around the site, especially in this forum and you will find lots of posts about this. This is a time for healing, not weight loss. You are doing fine.

Nice to know... I dont want to lose too fast however, I get nervous that this wont work b/c nothing has worked in the past hence why I wanted this to use as a tool... Thanks all
