What Protein shake do you drink?

Well I didn't buy any Protein Shakes at Sams cause my doctors said they want me to use Slim Fast Optimum or something like that...so I will do what they say and after I get through the preop liquid diet and the healing process then I will try out some of the ones ya'll are using.

We (thats P'Nut and I) use (reluctantly) Optimum Nutrition's (ON) Natural whey.

1 scoop, 1 cup of skim milk. 32g of Protein.

Taste: Choccie is the best, strawberry is ... the next best. vanilla is something you can add stuff into to make it drinkable.

The wife's post op shake O' DOOM (Drink in two sittings, or three):

1 scoop ON whey Protein strawberry

1 Cup of Milk

1 Slim Fast (Vanilla)

1/2 banana.< /p>

Blend and allow to sit in the fridge for an hour or two.

54g of Protein, 502.5 Calories.

Its 'almost' perfect. LOL

Now I liked the GNC 100% Whey Protein, but I got it in chocolate Carmel and Chocolate. I mixed it with skim milk and a teaspoon of ff/sf pudding. I also sometimes put a tablespoon of pb in mine.

Ummmmmm, I love peanut butter...but I have always loved the crunchy type. Guess I will have to switch to creamy! This sounds really good!

I've tried a lot of Protein drinks and, by far, the best-tasting is Syntrax Essence (Vanilla). Sometimes I mix it with a 50/50 ruby-red-grapefuit-and-Water mix but it tastes so good that I often just drink it with Water. I have to be careful not to drink too much because I like the taste so much.

I tried other Protein Drinks suggested here but I didnt like the aftertaste. Syntrax Essence has no aftertaste. And it smells as good as it tastes. You can check out the ingredients, etc at drugstore.com.

Hey can you buy Syntrax at a store, or do you have to order it online?

I buy Syntrax Essence thru www.drugstore.com. I dont know if you can buy it in stores but I'd be surprised if you couldnt find it somewhere. You might try doing a google search to see if there's a Syntrax website. And I think Syntrax may make more than one variety, so be sure to get the Essence. I love the vanilla flavor.

O.K. ya'll,

I love the Designer whey Protein, chocolate. I mix it with chocolate Carb countdown. I freeze 1 cup of the milk the night before, in the morning defrost it in the micro toss it in the blender with a scoop of the protein along with 1/2 a banana. It is as fantastic. It like having a milkshake. I can't wait for Breakfast.< /p>
