Corrigan 75 Posted October 25, 2011 Take a look at the 5 day band test. Several people have found it useful. It's on this site or look for it on Google.
Mimilou2004 13 Posted October 25, 2011 The hardest part of maintenance is, well, maintaining, LOL!!! My trainer assures me that a 5 pound swing is fixable and the fact that the gain bothers you is wonderful!!!! In the old days, or I should say pre-band days, 4 would become 20 in no time and now you have the tool to use to beat that 4 pounds back. Best wishes, Mimi
mauraclegg 29 Posted October 26, 2011 Corrigan - I had not heard of the 5 day test, but I am starting it tomorrow. Thank you! Mimi- it is only a few pounds, but it's my lack of motivation thats killing me. Honestly I blame it on some lingering complications frm my TT. But I have to stop using that as a crutch and get my a$$ in gear
Mimilou2004 13 Posted October 27, 2011 Maura, I went through it post op, too. After not exercising for so long it was hard to get back in the groove.....can you get a Personal Trainer for a few weeks to pep you up? Surgery takes its toll and anesthesia stays in the body a long time so you just might have physical reasons for blah time....keep posting and we will keep up the encouragement.
