LilAngel 0 Posted February 8, 2006 Oh my goodness. I am really worried about you. I am certainly not an expert and do not want to cause alarm, but by the 4th week after surgery I couldn't even tell I had had one. Please please please be persitent with your doc and find out what is wrong. I am glad you are going back. I send my best wishes. Let us know what happens. donali 57 Posted February 8, 2006 It sounds as though you are doing waaaay too much. But if you have any specific pains, particularly around where you think the band is, be persistant with following-up with your doc. I have a sedentary job and went back to work the 4th day after surgery, and went home each day feeling like I'd been run over by a truck. Once I got home I did NOTHING but lay on the couch. On the 5th day back to work I left after an hour - I just couldn't take it anymore. The next week was better, but If I wasn't working I was doing NOTHING but laying on the couch for a good 2-3 weeks. Make all those kids take care of you!!! Take it easy!!
