Has this ever happened to you?

Hi Everyone,

Today I was doing yoga with my students at work and I had a pain in my left side of my stomach every time I stretch. I had the same pain when I was trying yoga on Wednesday with them.

I'm 3 weeks post surgery. is it too early to be stretching my stuff? Is that supposed to happen?

Yes it is too early. You need to give all the stitches time to heal fully. Check with your Dr what exercise is/isn't appropriate at this stage.

yeah, i think yoga and high impact aerobics are too much at 3 weeks post op. my doctor says walking is good for the first 4 weeks. then after that, add more exercise in depending on how you feel. everyone heals differently, but i think yoga might be a bit much for now. i waited 2 months before i started doing yoga again.

My doctor wouldn't let me do any exercise other than walking until six weeks after surgery.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
