Thiamine deficiency due to lapbanding

Recommended Posts

I have a problem only on my right side where I have a loss of feeling, numbness and loss of muscle control (I cannot use my arm or leg and the numbness goes up into my mouth). There are some doctors who have stated that I have Epilepsy ( without fits or blackouts) and others who say not so. An American friend told me that after lapbanding, some people develop a thiamine deficiency which results in these symptoms.

Has anybody experienced or heard of this problem?

Thank you very much J.

There has been no knowledge of this here when I have asked the doctors about this problem. If possible could you send this info to my email address or give me a website or ontact email address/phone number for the doctors.

My email address is henrigoldin@hotmail.com

Once again thank you for your help with this. Hopefully, it will put me on the road to a better and less stressful lifestyle.

Regards,

Henri.
