formykids2 4 Posted October 11, 2011 Are lapbanders allowed to have raisin cereals like Raisin medley honey bunches of oats? I know that the raisins may be a problem, that is why I ask.
AKgirl 0 Posted October 11, 2011 I have never had an issure with raisins but the flakes in the Cereal are killer, they have never gone down well for me. Everyone is different, you just have to try foods and see how it works. My surgeon always said never try a new food in public. Good luck
elcee 3,342 Posted October 11, 2011 I struggled with raisins early on but now they are not a problem.

honk 780 Posted October 12, 2011 Cereal is high in carbs and low in Protein. Kashi does make a higher protein cereal so you may want to look into that. For Breakfast I have fruited Greek yoghurt with 1/2 scoop Protein Powder, splendra, benefiber, and 1/4 Kashi high protein cereal.

Rasin ceral is not low cal or low carb. If you want this to work you have to eat the right low carb foods.
