anewlife10 0 Posted October 10, 2011 Have any of you experieced this.... Last night I was laying in bed with my fiance and we were trying to have a serious conversation and he laid his head on my stomach and my stomach kept making crazy noises! It was so distracting and embarrassing! He kept stopping mid-conversation and asking me if I was hungry, then he thought I had gas ~ which I didn't. I wasnt at all hungry either ~ I hadn't eaten or drank anything in at least 2 hours prior to that. Have any of you had the noises going on? ... like all the time! kll724 3,055 Posted October 10, 2011 Yes! And usually while I am sitting in church! I sing in the choir, and we sit waiting patiently for our times to sing. It is very quiet, and then my rumbling will start. My lady friend says are you hungry? No, just rumbling tummy sounds! Haha! Karen
elcee 3,341 Posted October 10, 2011 My stomach does this all the time. And as Karen says it is not a sign of hunger . As far as I am aware it is just noises your digestive system make as food , air etc passes through. If I was you I wouldn't be embarrassed at least you're breaking wind! BTW - mine is so loud my hubby doesn't need to put his head on my stomach to hear it. I would like to bet that if you put your head on your fiances stomach you would probably hear something similar even if it isn't quite as loud.
sweetcalichic 6 Posted October 11, 2011 Noises all the time. Throat noise, stomach noise. Its just one of those things we have to get use to! Love when I find out I'm not the only one!
LipGlossedDespot 0 Posted October 11, 2011 ha ha ha! I love this topic! I have the NOISIEST tummy. I mean, people accross the room can hear it. It almost sounds like I have a growling demon living behind my breastbone. Mine typically stars in the stomach, but it it sort of "rolls" up toward my throat. And it's not like a regular burp, it more like a growling/rumbling, almost whining sound. I'm just thankful that I am not a dental hygenist or something that would require me to be close to someone's face. ha ha!
Sarabi 0 Posted October 13, 2011 Man......am I glad to read these posts. I swear I thought I was the only one who was so noisy. I have never heard the sounds my stomach and throat make. It's sometimes embarrassing. And....it's not like you can pretend it isn't happening. Everyone can hear it. Needless to say, I got lots of strange looks. I just try to think of it as the sound of skinny! lol
