Okay guys I had a me Breast lift with Silicone implants surgery on 9-28-2011. So far I am feeling good. I only take my pain medicine/ muscle relaxers at night. I tried going all day and night without it a couple days ago and when it was time for me to get up I felt a pain out of this world. I was all stiff and sore. so I would like a little advice. How long did it take for you to sleep on your side? My boobs are beginning to itch like crazy. I try to lotion them but either I am not doing it enough or it is just not working. I try not to do it too much because I don’t want my incisions to get lotion on them. Also I know it is too soon to worry about putting anything on my scars but what did you guys use?

Hey!

I just a lift and implants October 1st!

First of all where is your incision? Did you go over the muscle or under? What kind of bra are you wearing post op? Have you heard of moob or morning boob?

So for the first few weeks or a a month or so after surgery many people get something called a morning boob. It is often described as something similar to a guys wood. Your boobs are harder in the morning from being so still all night ( and your muscles).

This will eventually go away but is a pain in the ass (err umm chest) at first. Massaging in the morning can help.

I would love to sleep on my side ( I actually always wake up on my side whoops), but right now your implants are still adjusting to their pockets, so I wouldnt recommend sleeping on your side until your doctor ok's it or atleast 6 weeks (or when your allowed to wear a wire bra)

My boobs are itchy because I had a bad reaction to the bandages, it actually left a bad rash so I cover them with gauze but no bandages. Anyways I use vasalin where the rash is and neosporn where the incision is every other day( all ok'ed by my doc). I clean the incision with alcohol every day after my shower ( which I wash the incision with dial soap).

Once my incision has healed ( its about 50% healed I can already barely see the scar, btw I had an areola incision) I will just use a scar cream. I will look at the same tonight but I am not sure if it is a western brand or american. Your doctor could probablly recommend something.

A lot of people like to use the silicone bandaid things as well for scars.

If you havent already you should join justbreastimplants.com/forum. It is full of info for things like this!

Hey there I got a lolly POP with an anchor and I have the scar around my nipples. I ended up getting 450 cc underneath the muscle. So o should end up with a nice D I hope. I use the dial soap as well but I was told to clean with proxicide. And I got the bra from Walmart the one that clamps in the front. And yes I have the MOOD but my doc told me not of massage my breast so I have to seal with it I guess if is not bad enough to take pain medicine. Well I hope you have a quick healing process.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
