TrishS 3 Posted February 7, 2006 :help: I have been having this really tight feeling in my throat, NOT my chest but right above on my lower throat part. I have NO restriction at all, I can eat like a normal person, maybe even more... Sometimes it is tighter then other times, when it gets really really tight my saliva glands go crazy, and it hurts really bad. I have had heart burn in the past but since the band I have not had any symptoms. I dont know if this is Acid Reflux I am feeling (was told heart burn and acid reflux are diffrent).. I dont think it changes with my eating. **I called my Dr. and he was not in, They said he will call me when he gets back on Thursday.
