Can anyone explain why they ask that you are well hydrated prior to a fill? How does this affect the fill itself? Details please, if possible. Thanks,

I suspect that it is in case you get an overfill you will be starting from a good place so you don't dehydrate so fast. It has never been a question at my doc, but I think it is an excellent point.
