acm 2 Posted October 2, 2011 I had surgery on the 28th. When does the pain in the abdomen go away? It feels like a burning pulling of the muscles. Tylenol doesnt work and the scripts knock me out.

Tylenol doesnt work and the scripts knock me out. I can totally relate. I had my surgery on the 27th and am going through the same thing. I just know each day will get better and less painful
BaileyRose 13 Posted October 3, 2011 I'm two months post op and to be honest, that pain comes and goes. It gets muuuuuch better, but for instance, the past few days I've been having that dull, slightly burning port pain. Just try to take it easy. I know when I over do it I get pain in my port area. 2bethin4ever 1 Posted October 20, 2011 I had this same issue also that started 2 weeks after surgery. I had it REALLY bad for about 1 1/2 weeks, then it seems like when I went back to work it got better. Nothing could ride on my waist and it was worse when walking or standing and better when I sat or layed down. I was told it was muscular and didn't believe them when they told me that. Now I am starting to think they are right! Lay low and take it easy, it will go away
