I'm so excited!! I got on the scale this morning and found that I was under 250, which is a miracle for me. I haven't seen this weight since birth. I've spent most of my life around the 280-300 range. I went through a period where I was on liquids only and my body wouldn't let go of the weight, so I had to up the calories and protien to find that I started going down again (tip I got from this great forum). This truly stokes the "I can do it" attitude.

Yes, I feel so good. This has been the hardest struggle for me. I'm one of those people who would hit at least one drive-thru restaurant for a snack and then get another full meal at the next one. Sadly, I could eat the first meal while waiting in line for the next one. Eating at home has made such a difference. I've been learning how to create tasty meals for my family, and they like them. I didn't realize how tired my kids were from eating out all the time and eating in the car.

That's incredible! Good or you! I can't wait to be under 250. I, like you, have been in the 280-300(306 was my highest... Eek!!!) for a looong time. I'm at 263 now. 43 lbs lost since I started my pre-op diet.... 23.5 lbs lost since surgery- 2 months ago. Down from a size 26 in pants to a 20! I'm feeling great! Still have a ways to go, but I wouldn't be here on my own... Don't I know! I've tried diet after diet and could never stick to it. The band works! You just have to work with it. Good for you!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
