ready4changein2011 70 Posted October 1, 2011 Congrats on weight loss, keep it up. and what is this pouch test? Out of all my research I've never heard of it. Banding in 2012. Whatever will help me lose this weight once banded, I'm interested.

klariade 7 Posted October 1, 2011 I've done the 5-day pouch test several times, and I freakin' LOVE IT!!! When I feel myself getting out of control and falling off the wagon, it is just what I need to jumpstart myself back into weight loss mode. Works like a charm every time. I probably do it once every few months. It also gives your pouch a break for a few days and can help if your band area is irritated at all. Highly recommend it! hopetolose 192 Posted October 2, 2011 I ;)m gonna try it. I have been getting into eating more slider foods lately and have been at a stall for almost a month now. This sounds like what I need
Jachut 487 Posted October 2, 2011 I still cant get up any motivation to do these really hard diets with the band - shake diets for example. I know it'd be a great way to lose the 8lb that's bothering me, and I know I wont really be terribly hungry, but I still like my food too much! But the best thing about the band is that if you CAN be arsed to do these diets, you cant pile it back on again in no time flat when you finish becuase it makes your band work BETTER and you'll feel tighter and unable to go and eat four muffins and a big iced coffee in your desperation to carb up again.
