Is pre surgery liquid diet required?

I'm just starting my journey (I'm waiting for my seminar and initial Dr visit) and I was wondering is the pre surgery liquid diet required? Or does your Dr recommend it based on your specific case?

Each surgeon has their own philosophy on this. I had to do a two week liquid diet with two cups of vegetables allowed each day. After surgery I had to do another 10 days of liquids then on to mushies and finally regular food.< /p>

You should get all the information you need from your seminar and classes. Each hospital

approches it a little differently, but most of the instructionis are similar. Best of luck.
