Wheetsin 714 Posted February 8, 2006 Strong Bad rocks! I've lost touch in the last 2 years or so, but back when he only had a handful of emails - the BEST. All time favorite - his children's book. Hilarious! Nykee - have you seen MM live? We saw them back in 94 when no one had a clue who they were. They were opening for NIN and we all assumed it would be a girl band. Concert was in (of all places) Topeka, KS... known for it's "celebrity" Reverend Phelps. I won't even get started on him because I'll never stop, but the show was *amazing* and Twiggy Ramirez was just plain hot. The next day I had to special order the American Family CD. Had to! Oh wow. I am old. 94?!? It seems like yesterday...
puddin 7 Posted February 8, 2006 Is there any other Strong Bad? I have no idea. I just thought it was so random that you'd mention Strongbad along with No Doubt and Skids.
Wheetsin 714 Posted February 8, 2006 I don't want to take this OT, but I'm sitting here laughing, remembering a time where I used to work -- a few of my co-workers and I would check Strongbad every day. We used to pull all kinds of pranks when someone was out. One of the guys was out and we burninated everything in his cube without cutouts of the paper flames and Trogdor. He kept everything up for like 2 years. Ah, the good ol' days.
MyKdsDad 1 Posted February 8, 2006 Anything but heavy metal or rap. I'm teaching myself guitar and right now I'm working on Rockin' Robin and Ode to Joy.

vinesqueen 2 Posted February 9, 2006 I have no idea. I just thought it was so random that you'd mention Strongbad along with No Doubt and Skids. There is no other Strong Bad, but you are right, it is rather random... but I'm pretty random so it is very fitting.

FunnyDuddies 6 Posted February 10, 2006 You name it, I'll listen to it, but it has to be of some sort of talent. No talent musicians and singers don't go well by me. I am a trained and practicing singer. And I drive my DH nuts cause I can hear a song and sing it back almost perfectly. I am one of those that walks through the grocery store singing to the muzak without noticing that I am doing it.
