nu2ywg 4 Posted September 29, 2011 How long have you been banded? How many fills have you had? If you aren't at restriction yet, it's the hardest time because it's all willpower. You will get there eventually. I have noticed that for me if I don't drink enough fluids or get enough Protein, my weight loss slows so make sure you are doing that. Take care and chin up, you can do it! 1 Bertie reacted to this

Obviously you need a fill but there may be other reasons why you arent losing weight. I am 10 months post op and have seen the Dr every month since being banded and will continue until I reach my goal. I have had 4 fills to get to my sweet spot.... but the more I lose the more filled I need to be. I couldnt be as successful as I have been if I didnt see my Dr every month. Best of Luck to you. THEgeorgiaPEACH 3 Posted September 29, 2011 Sounds to me like you need to find your "green zone" ...you need to go to your surgeon and tell him "GIVE ME RESTRICTION" ...nicely of course. You shouldn't be able to eat anything & everything. How many cc's is your band, and how many cc's are in it?
54Shirley 105 Posted September 29, 2011 You need to get in touch with your surgeon, and tell him what you lost in 3 years, and how you feel also. Ask to be filled under Fluoroscope, and maybe he will fill you to your fill line. But go see your Surgeon ! If No satisfaction then go see someone else. vlp1968 83 Posted September 30, 2011 I agree with the above posts about getting a fill. I also want to put a plug in for excerise. If your not, start. If you are, up what your doing. Working out has so many benefits, just one being weight loss. Start out slow and gradually increase your duration/intensity. I started out walking slowly for 20 minutes on the treadmill. I now jog for 30 or walk briskly on an incline for 45. I lost 107 pounds in about 10 months. You can do it!
