2 weeks of working out

Recommended Posts

It seemed like I was so tired all of the time. I have had the band for about 5 months and lost about 50lbs but still lacking energy. The last two weeks I have been going to the gym and spending a minimum of 30 minuts on the tread-mill, and most of the time more.

I have not weighed myself for the last two weeks but will do so this week. I do feel much better, less tired and I'm hoping that the increased time at the gym has also encouraged some additional weight loss.:)

Good for you Tod!

We ordered a treadmill (I've been excitedly telling everyone) and it should arrive on Friday. I have been dragging so badly. So tired all the time, but all I do is sit. Duh.

It's been a fact for many a century now - you get back what you give out. Expend energy, get energy.

Can't wait to get out of slug-dom and back to the living.

And 50 pounds in 5 months! You rock!

You will, love the tread-mill. I have been watching the old t.v. while working out and this seems to help make the time pass. The other night I did a one hour weight/cardo class...they say it burns about 700 calories. I'm going again tonight. Thanks so much for the reply, that was really nice of you.

I recently converted my garage into a gym. I spent more than $15,000 on my stomach, so I figured a few grand on a gym was a reasonable accessory. I bought a top of the line NordicTrack treadmill (a serious powerhouse), a new stationary bike, a new elliptical machine, a home gym (bench and cable system), swiss ball, dumbbell set, and most importantly a 21' TV with a DVD player and cable. Awesome! I am having a lot of fun working out, and because it is close (in my own home), I can use it often with great ease.

That is awesome! Exercizing really helps. I have a recumbent bike right in my family room - have to trip over it every day. With it staring me in the face, it is easier to get motivated. Having it right in front of the TV helps, too.
