Awesome transformation! You look amazing. I can't wait to hit goal and have my arms done and boobs lifted! Ive already gone from a HH to DD with 80 more pounds to lose so Im sure I'll be a mess!lol But your pics are inspiring thanks for posting! Any thoughts on getting a TT for someone who hasn't yet had children? I always read mixed reviews. Im 27 and not sure yet if I will have kids on my own but theres always a possibility!

I'm very impressed by your transformation! If you don't mind my asking, how many incisions are on each breast for the lift? My husband was freaked out by my relatively teeny lapband incisions, so I thought I might never be able to go thru with plastic surgery. But the change is so great, I think it might be worth it.

My incisions go around my nipples, then down from the bottom of my nipple to the crease of my breast. Someone told me the other day it was called a lollipop incision, not sure though, although that seems very fitting.

Thank you... Having a TT before having kids would be a very tough decision for me. At first thought, I would say I would definitely wait. This isn't an easy surgery and having kids sure stretches you out. However, at the same time, I know the feeling of just wanting that excess skin off. So, while my completely logical side says to wait and make it worth it, don't do it too soon and end up regretting it. My impulsive side would beg me to reconsider.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
