khath0620 20 Posted September 26, 2011 I go to the gym at 5 a.m. (so I get up at 4:30). I am generally STARVED when I wake up. I try to have a small snack before I go to the gym (i.e. handful of cheerios, a few grapes, etc) so I don't get dizzy when I work out. Peanut Butter, bannana etc is a good source of slow releising energy. I know you may struggle but fasting excercise is the way to go to to get your body into the fat burning mode.
