Cindy C 150 Posted September 25, 2011 Liquid anti-nausea meds (Emetrol) I'd skip the bananas. A lot of bandsters have problems with them. You won't need the tuna and chicken for a while. Make sure the yogurt as no lumps. There's only 70 calories difference between regular and s/f Carnation Instant Breakfast. You can get the regular at Sam's or costco a heck of a lot cheaper. $8 for 30 pkgs. as opposed to $5.50 for 10. That's the one exception to my no drinking sugar rule! jclogger 0 Posted September 25, 2011 Thanks for your suggestions. I'm really trying to get my grocery list together for pre-op and post-op. On my pre-op I can have 2 Protein Shakes (breakfast and Lunch) and a simple dinner meat , two vegs. or meat one veg. and fruit. So any suggestions on things let me know. I ve found some individual wrapped vegs. made by green giant in the freezer section that is really taste really good for my pre-op and they are on the point system for weight watchers. I'm not the best cook in the world. So I'm always on the look out.

cheryl2586 3,053 Posted September 25, 2011 I would find a different Protein Shake as well as slim fast tends to have to much sugar in it. I would go with EAS that has more Protein and less than one gram of sugar. Its not half bad either I buy the already made with carb control. You want the most protein in a shake. Also body fortress at Walmart is about 22 for the powder and less than 1 grm of sugar.
brenda62 47 Posted September 25, 2011 I agree with the last post. I used EAS low carb control. More Protein, less sugar much better for you. Slim fast and carnation are not that good. There are a lot of better ones out there. Good luck
JinTx 19 Posted September 25, 2011 I second body fortress. I only drink the chocolate. I tried several brands and spent way too much $$ on products that tasted like crap. Huge container for $15. Cant beat that. J
jclogger 0 Posted September 25, 2011 OK! Thank you all for your comments. I have looked up the Eas and Premier Protein shakes, they have them at our Sams club. Im really picky about those drinks cause some of them just taste so YUCKY!!! The Slim fast and Carnation Instant was on my Dr. list. So I think I am going to try either the Eas or Premier. I have tried the Atkins shakes (can we say YUCK!) Please keep the list a comin. I like ready made stuff if possible. I'm a busy bee!!
