stacythegreat 1 Posted September 25, 2011 Congratulations. I had my surgury on 9-1-11 I have lost 25 pounds. I had my first fill this past Wed. didn't hurt just a very weird feeling. I can see a difference now in how much I can eat and I stay full longer. I think it helps not drinking Water during my meal. I follow that to the T. My Dr. suggests no drinking 20 min before a meal none during the meal and none an hour after the meal. That has been my hardest adjustment. I hope all goes well with your surgery. I have lost 50 pounds and can't wait to get to 50 more!! You will love how the lap band helps you. You still have to eat the right things but it will help you with the amounts. Good luck to you and keep us informed on your progress and remember we are here if you have any questions.

Hippygirl 8 Posted October 4, 2011 Hello all... Thank you all for the wonderful inspiration. In the midst of all of this, I lost my Grandmother, so I haven't done so great on the pre-op diet but I'm back on today. I'm not a huge carb eater anyway. Good luck everyone! My Dr is Mardsen.
