Dani257969 0 Posted September 21, 2011 My name is Danielle and I have five children, including 4 year old triplets. I was banded 2 years ago and have lost 100 lbs with about 100 more to go. I have had a lot of problems with my band and was scheduled to be revised to a bypass in November. I just found out I am pregnant with #6. I'm totally shocked. I haven't ovulated on my own in almost a decade. I got the letter yesterday telling me the date of my surgery and just cried. I know I will eventually be really happy about this baby, but I'm just do disappointed that I have to wait even longer to get the rest of this weight off. NJGirl32 43 Posted September 21, 2011 OMG!!! Congrats!! I don't know how you do it, especially with 4 yr. old triplets! You'll be one busy Momma!! Enjoy this time, the weight will come off next year-just try not to overindulge and you'll have less to lose. God Bless you and your family!!
readytolosemomof5 0 Posted September 21, 2011 I know it is difficult and frustrating to see the end in site, just to find another curve in the road. But once you get used to the idea of the new baby, things will be brighter. It's okay not to be happy about it right now. I was extremely about having my last one until I was about 7mo along and I was told that they thought something was wrong with her brain. I then realized that I wasn't really upset anymore, I just thought I was. BTW, everything turned out wrong, but what a scary time! Oh, and I actually LOST weight during my last pregnancy. So who knows, maybe chasing around triplets (I couldn't imagine! You are a strong lady), and this pregnancy, will melt that weight off . Either way, good luck and best wishes.
