Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

Can you recommend a good cream to use to help lighten scar marks from surgery and stretch marks from being overweight? Thanks!!

Vitamin E Oil and Cocoa Butter Lotion are the two things that I keep reading about. I haven't been using anything, but I need to start.. My scars are really dark.

You can find Mederma at any drug store, OTC, and at most WalMarts, Target Stores and ShopKo.

You can find it anywhere basically. I got mine at walgreens. It's $20 but it will last a long time. I got the mederma gel. There's also the SPF cream but I didn't think that was necessary since you scars are never in the sun. Plus the SPF kind is $25.

the anti-wrinkle cream i'm using has also a skin lightening variant that works for scars and stretch marks too. you might want to check out NeuCell. that's the brand name.
