I found out at my first fill that my doc put 4 ml in, the NP put in an additional 1ml, and I can certainly feel the difference with just that 1ml. She was considering putting 2ml in, I'm sure glad she didn't! I think that it is not just surgeon preference, but case by case difference as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
AlienBandit 10 Posted September 5, 2011 My first band was 11cc and my doc did not give me a fill during surgery. My second band same doc, different band 10cc he put 4cc in during surgery. He said the same was too loose and i didnt have that much fat around my stomach. Getting a fill during surgery is kind of like helping you avoid bandster hell.
